I need a very thick/special gimp yarn. Can you produce it?

I need a small sample quickly to evaluate the effect. Do you have stock of all your yarns ?
We try to hold as many samples as possible of Lurex® yarns. However, the range is very large and it is not always possible to have a sample of every product. If the sample is not available we can recommend a nearest alternative or give you details on the time it will take to supply what you require.
I need to innovate and am looking for new effect yarns

I can’t find the softness my customers are looking for

I can’t find a metallic yarn fine enough to mix with my other super fine yarns

My current metallic yarn is breaking during the production process
Depending on your production process, Lurex® has developed a very wide range of different types of yarn which will cope with most of your technical constraints. The yarn is losing its colour and shine over time
At Lurex® we take special care to control the quality of film, metallizing and coating of our yarns in order to provide long lasting quality. I can’t get colour consistency with metallic yarn

My metallic yarns unwind irregularly / I have unwinding problems
Bad winding can create problems when weaving or knitting metallic yarns. At Lurex® we take special care in the regularity of bobbin and cone winding. We will also propose a special package to improve your production process and we may advise you on technical tools or more accurate yarns to improve your fabrics. How can I get a metallic yarn which will resist agressive chemicals?

When I am piece dying fabric the metallic yarn is destroyed or losing its brightness, is there anything I can do?

When I am piece dying my fabric it gets contaminated by the colour of the metallic yarn. Is there any solution for this problem?
Our Lurex® Lab has established detailed guidlines for piece dyeing fabrics, including how to decrease the risk of the Lurex® contaminating the fabric during the dyeing process. I would like the metallic to take the colour of the dyes when I piece dye.
